Knowing my cancer risk, I eventually faced decisions that no woman hopes to make.
At 36, I chose to have a preventive bilateral mastectomy.
At 39, I underwent a complete hysterectomy.
Those surgeries weren't easy.
They changed my body.
They changed my life.
But I made those decisions for one simple reason...
I wanted to be here to watch my children grow up.
To cheer from the sidelines.
To celebrate graduations.
To someday hold my grandchildren.
Every scar tells the story of choosing more time with the people I love most.
Looking back on it, I would do it all over again.
My experience taught me something important.
I can't change my genetics.
But I can influence many of the choices I make every day.
That realization sparked a deep curiosity about the things I could control...
The food I eat.
How I move my body.
How I manage stress.
The products I use on my skin.
The products I bring into my home.
No single product can eliminate cancer risk, and I would never suggest otherwise.
But I believe our everyday choices matter.
I believe knowledge empowers us to make informed decisions.
I believe reducing unnecessary exposures where we can is a meaningful part of supporting long-term health.

Why I do what I do
That journey eventually led me to study functional medicine, become a health coach, and immerse myself in the science of ingredients.
It also introduced me to waterless skincare and products made with concentrated botanical ingredients instead of relying on water as the primary ingredient.
What started as a personal search became a passion for helping others.
Today, I spend my time educating women about ingredients, simplifying wellness, and helping them make informed choices that fit their own goals and values.
Not because I believe there's only one right way.
But because every woman deserves honest information and the opportunity to decide what's best for herself.
